My name is Ryan "Spud" Hopkins and I am the proud owner of Beal's BBQ and Catering. I graduated from Western Culinary Institute and love cooking good food.
I have worked as sous chef in two different restaurants and now manage a busy lil' meat market. A great opportunity came to me to do BBQ catering on the side. Don Beal, the old owner, trained me on his trailer smoker. The meat rub and BBQ sauce are on the money!!! I have loved them from day one. In the butcher market I am surrounded by BBQ sauces. I would take my sauce over any of it.
Being creative is my favorite thing about cooking, so any request is welcome. I look forward to putting on great BBQ events that just keep getting better.
